GUIDELINES FOR PAPER PRESENTATION
- Abbrevations used in abstract must be defined
- Abstract content will be reproduced exactly as submitted, therefore proof reading beforehand is essential
- Please conduct a spell check of your document, before submission as this will help avoid typographical errors
- Authors assume complete responsibility for the data at the time of submission. Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract
- Decisions by the scientific committee programme are final
- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and agree to its submission, before submitting the abstract
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Abstract authors are required to disclose any conflict of interests in the submission form
Abstract Submission
Abstract Word Limit:
- The body of the abstract should contain no more than 300 words
Structure of the Abstract:
- Objectives
- Methods (include statistical methods where relevant)
- Results
- Conclusion
Selection Note:
- Research papers not selected for 'Oral' presentation will be considered for 'e-Poster' Case Report
- The text (Body) of the ‘Abstract’ for Case Reports should contain no more than 300 words. It should be structured in the following manner
Background
- Provide a brief introduction or context for the case
Case Characteristics
- Include patient’s age, gender, and clinical presentation
Outcome
- Describe results of tests revealing the diagnosis, response to treatment, and the final outcome
Message
- Provide one single statement that directly emerges from the present case
- Case reports will only be considered for e-posters
